Most interesting thingS I found in the classroom> was when I was in 7th grade. It was the first day of school after summer vacation. I was as usual goofing around and disrupting the class when the teacher came up to my desk and bent down. I don’t recall the words she uttered in reprimand but I do remember the two most interesting things in the classroom at that time. I was entranced as I could see down the front of her summer dress. She wasn’t wearing a bra, I assume because of the sunburn she apparently was suffering from. As usual I was compelled to verbalize my observations. I looked up at her and said “ I can see that you got sunburned on vacation and I can see down your dress and there are a couple of things that didn’t get sunburned so I guess you didn’t go to a nude beach. That comment got me giggles, gaffaws, snickers, squeals from the girls and applause from the boys just prior to the slap across my face, expulsion from the room to a desk outside the classroom door for three weeks. There you have it. The TWO most interesting things I EVER found in a classroom. The slap was worth it!

Matthew Bates, Teacher (2009-present)
It really depends on if the students are in the classroom because, honestly, the most interesting things in the classroom happen at times when there are only adults in the building. If you’ve seen and heard some of the things I’ve seen and heard in classrooms well after school hours or on the weekends, you’d think they were interesting.Like seeing a drunk, naked teacher sleeping under his desk one night. I wrote about that here:Matthew Bates' answer to What is your most embarrassing moment at school? If you’re too busy or lazy to read that answer, I just to make sure we’re all clear: I was not that teacher, and this happened a long time ago.

One day I was absent from class and lot many kids found chance to backbite about me to few tecahers. One classmate called me in the evening and told about it. Next day I pluck 22 best roses from my lawn and gifted to my all teachers early morning in the staff room. It was first day of the new year. Now imagine what? Each teacher (short hair or long hair) entered the class with one big red maroon rose in hairs praising me.
That was the first time I heard from one classmate that I can be a very good politician.

Mario Asselin,
I have seen a young boy of five year's old take a little chair and try to reach his kindergarden's teacher. I saw my philosophy teacher put the book of an author his was teaching to us in a garbage and step on it to show all the respect he have for. But the most impressive moment I had in class was when my youngest sun is born. His eight years old brother didn't want to rest after the childbirth; he convince me to let him go in class. The hour during the time he explain how my wife gave life to my other son was awesome !

One day me and my friends were bunking a peroid.
Then we get to know the there is an arrangement peroid in class whole class was out now and we all were thrusty so we all went to the class to drink water. One of us opened the bag of a girl he didn’t knew that the bag was of a girl, suddenly he has searching for water and he found her under garments and pads in her bag. He then took them put of the bag and started showing us we all were shocked and i got hiccups while drinking water very badly.I can’t forget this incident in my life cause that day was very worst and we all were very shamed and then we all apologised in our hearts and said sorry to her and that girl didn’t get why we were regretting. That’s allSorry if you all feel we have done wrong cause we were small at that time!

Daniel Kaplan,
I once found out that my classroom doubles as a hotel in its spare time.
I’ve found a lot of things in my classroom. I once found ammunition (a kid was killing squirrels with his dad over the weekend and forgot to clean out his backpack very well). I once found a significant sum of cash. I think it was about $50 in random change. Some teacher who’d had my desk in years gone by had apparently lost it behind a drawer. While modifying my desk so that it was more useful, I came across it. A lot of it was in quarters. I was never able to track down whose it was.
Still, when I found that the final for Fall semester had moved to the table near my desk, I was a bit… confused.
At first, I thought that maybe it was my imagination. I remembered leaving my test copies all laid out very carefully. They were in folders, ready to drop on my students’ desks so that they’d be able to start the moment they walked into the class.
Then I thought that maybe the custodian had moved them. It would be strange. The custodian had never moved things on my desk before. There was no reason to do so.
Had a student come in to take a sneak peek? I found that unlikely. A student could have asked the custodian to unlock the door claiming that he or she had left their jacket or something similar there. On the other hand, why would that require that they move the tests to another table?
Before I could mention it to the teacher next door, she told me that she had also found something strange in her room. She had found the box to an inflatable mattress in her room. Upon learning this, another teacher across the hall claimed that his room had smelled like pot when he opened the door. Another room had food wrappers.
At this point, we could only assume that someone had broken in. We considered calling the police, but another teacher thought it might be more prudent to call an administrator first.
“No… your rooms were used over the weekend.”
This had us a bit confused. We typically get some kind of advanced notice when our rooms will be used for district training. That… apparently wasn’t what had gone on, though.
I could take you through the rest of the investigation, but I sat on the sidelines for much of it, eating popcorn.
What we discovered is that our district has a policy of renting out our rooms to groups who needed them for lodging. The one we’d discovered wasn’t anywhere near the first. This group was in town for a musical competition. There were hundreds of people on campus, most of them students. Their coaches wanted to be near the students (who slept in the gym), but not actually be with them. Thus, what could be more logical than to use classrooms? They’re like bedrooms! They have flat surfaces… sinks… and…
At first, we thought this had to be a joke. I mean… my classroom is some kind of Airbnb? Then we thought it had to be someone making some money on the side. Then we saw a contract with the school and realized… Nope. This is just where we work.
The good news is that now the district sometimes lets us know when our wing will be doubling as a Holiday Inn Express. Small victories.
I hope we get good ratings on Yelp!
