Many Koreans have negative opinion on the US. Things like health care, gun control issues, and racial divide in the states are pretty well reported in Korea.

I'm 30 years old, and I constantly think to myself that I should relearn everything again, starting at 6th grade and up. So much has changed. I miss school. We do look better and are richer. Simple as that

I only lived in ShangHai and San Francisco, so my view might be skewed. The first thing I would say is that american citizens do experience more freedom as in less restrictions and rules. But that's pretty much all that is good with living in the US compared to China. China (at least in ShangHai) is much cleaner and safer. The food fits my taste a lot more. Living expenses is much lower. You can easily walk around during the night without any worry that you will get assaulted or robbed. All around just a much better experience than the US. I highly recommend trying living in China once in your life, a least as a tourist, you won't regret it. Final word, working in China is probably a bit worse than the US, but I haven't worked in China during my stay so I can't say for sure.
