This turns our government over to people who are not citizens and have no rights as citizens, yet will control our government in a short period of time if this happens. There are a lot of answers already, but I have not read all 93 (and counting), so I will list mine:
Impose significant legal penalties on any and all employers of illegal aliens. I mean draconian penalties: huge fines for a first offence, jail time increasing in length for subsequent offences.
This is actually the most reasonable solution. The illegal aliens are no longer incentivized to relocate illegally, because no one will employ them.
The employers, or those that would otherwise take advantage of these unfortunates have disincentives to profit off of a near-slave labour force.
This also generates more responsibility on behalf of sponsors to legal immigrants.

The United States struggles with illegal migration because there is significant incentives for the illegals to enter, and there is a significant number of Americans that economically benefit from being able to pay for labour at a gigantic discount.
This solution, while it will not solve all the issues, will have a significant enough impact to buy country time to legislate comprehensive immigration reform, and may also have a positive benefit to wages for low skilled labour that is often currently depressed due to the availability of illegal labour and lack of repercussions for employing them.

Actually, 90%+ of this whole illegal alien invasion problem is fairly easy to solve.
1st - We need a NATIONAL E-Verify law which makes it mandatory for EVERY person who applies for ANY job or ANY benefit to be cleared through this great program run by the SSA.
2nd - There must also be strict and harsh penalties (including at least some jail time and loss of the business license) for those dishonest people who provide a job or benefit to an illegal alien without using E-Verify.
With no jobs and no government 'freebies', the vast majority of illegal aliens will simply pack up and self deport. This is what was happening in Arizona
Just think of the MILLIONS of jobs which will open up when all the illegal aliens leave the country.
