As an American dealing with the same type of politicians back in the U.S, the only answer to this situation regarding the current politicians in power who are not listening to the people's demands for a ceasefire in gaza after countless peaceful protests, then the answer is to vote them out during the election and vote for politicians who will listen to the demands of the people. In the U.S we have Cornel West, Jill Stein, who do listen to the will of the people and want a ceasefire to happen and probably many more candidates whom I haven't heard of that want a ceasefire. I may not know about UK politics, how they work and who are the politicians in their upcoming election if there is one but there has to be other candidates in the UK to vote for who actually wants to listen to the people's demand for a ceasefire so that they can replace the ones that don't.

You may or may not be aware that it's being said by the speaker and others that threats of physical violence would be carried out against Labour politicians if the speaker had allowed the SNP motion to go through. The media is saying extremist Islamist groups are making these serious threats. However, if you think about it why on earth would Islamists threaten Labour MP's with violence if they allowed the SNP's resolution to be voted on? The SNP's motion was far stronger than Labour's watered down amended version. Surely the threats must have been made by the other side for whom the SNP's motion if passed would have proved most unwelcome? Of course one shouldn't suggest that.

If everyone who ever participated in one of these large pro-Palestinian marches would just donate one day of their wages to help rebuild Gaza, Palestinians would have work rebuilding their homes. Solar panels, greenhouses, and more water desalinization plants could be installed to make Gaza less dependent on Israel. Optionally, Gazans can continue to play their role as martyrs for neighboring counties who refuse to admit them.

It is not an exaggeration to say that we have not seen this type of atrocities and GENO.... since the GENO.... of the Jews during WWII. I personally will never march next to Musli.... However, I do feel enormously sorry for the innocent Palestinians who have to put up with Hamas hiding in amongst them and there is nothing they can do about it. I have a problem with these things. They don't work. I remember In the time of Bush, as now, Millions marched against the War in Iraq but he invaded anyway and was allowed to retire in peace.
