One of the most stunning and beautiful places in the world, the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in China's Hunan Province has more than 3,000 sandstone pillars and peaks, some higher than 200 meters/660 feet. Its amazing views became inspiration for the "Avatar" movie and it is on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Wulingyuan Scenic Area includess 4 parts, all covered in the video: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the Yangjiajie Scenic Area. This video covers all 4 National Parks in the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, including stunning views from all major trails and the 3 cable cars and the Balong elevator.

We see a lot of pictures and footage of the Grand Canyon in US ,which in its own right is spectacular ,but I've never seen such an amazing place as this .it looks like China's Grand Canyon but with trees! It's out of this world in fact it's more spectacular with the mist clinging to the rocks. Thanks for the tour ,breath taking!

The Zhangjiajie landform is a unique type of sandstone landform. It is a landform landscape dominated by tall stone pillar forests formed by flowing water erosion, gravity collapse, weathering and other forces from quartz sandstone as the parent rock.

Been there and spent 10 most beautiful days of my life in this magical mesmerizing place. And no, none of the videos or pictures do even half justice to the majestic nature of this place.

I must say although this video is excellent, it doesn't capture how stunning and breathtaking the view and everything is, especially first thing in the morning after sunrise, of the mountains and trees and fog and mist ... You literally feel like you are in heaven! Even photographs cannot capture that sensation! I highly recommend going there and experiencing it first hand yourselves.

I spent 4 days hiking in this national park. This area is huge. Most tourist just go there by bus, take photos and leave. It is worth exploring it.

Just back from this amazing place. We'll worth seeing. And photos, videos don't do it justice. Go experience it yourself, the cable ride up the mountain is breathtaking. The views looking down from the walkways stunning. The elevator ride was too fast and busy to fully enjoy. 3 days in this area was not enough.
