The United States government has issued a recommendation that almost all US citizens get annual Coronavirus vaccine shots. The advice comes as US hospitalizations for coronavirus are on the rise. Vaccine shots for children as young as six months have been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. Hundreds of deaths due to coronavirus are recorded in the US each week. A campaign encouraging people to get vaccinated is due to begin in a few days.

I have long Covid issues since I had it last year when omicron first came out. I have oxygen issues. And I’m 31 and got Covid when I was 30. Was a healthy 30 year old and once I got it and got very sick even being vaccinated and boostered still got severly sick.

It’s funny how most in the comments say “oh it’s just like the flu”. If you are lucky. I had it once, it was uncomfortable but not bad. But my dad was recently in hospital and his roommate suffered from long COVID. He has a myriad of symptoms and he turned to us and said “I wish I died, this is not living”. Good if you had it and nothing bad happened but to claim it is “nothing” is just untrue. Stay safe and healthy!

I got mild reaction from COVID. For me it is a normal flu with very painful sore throat. But at least I am not dead because of vacinne. So if the new vaccine comes, I will sure get it.

I just recovered from COVID--caught it two weeks ago: 4 days of fever, 5 days with a very bad sore throat, stuffy nose, and some upper chest congestion. I stayed isolated for 10 days and rested. (I've been vaxed--and ocassionally boosted--last time a year ago).
