Actually the role of meat in our ancestral diets has been severely overstated. Just recently, bowls thousands of years old were discovered in Africa (the original human ancestor) and the food traces in them were completely plant based. Humans ate for survival in ancient times, not for longevity.
The carnivore diet is at this point no more than psuedoscience. Sure, it might help people like yourself to a degree, but that's probably because you've eliminated a certain food group that was causing you problems, not that the meat itself is making you better. I'd be seriously concerned about your long term well being.

Youre totally right that its benefits come from removing irritants that trigger autoimmune responses and inflammation. It's worrying. I'm in Cumbria. It hasn't rained where I am for several weeks, apart from a brief shower the other night. The river that flows through my town can now be crossed happily by my kids without it going above their ankles. This is a river known for flooding badly. The local lake level is very, very low, and I haven't seen it like this before. Many of the feeder streams in the fells are drying up.
