It has definitely been hot this month, not the hottest I have experienced since living here , but the rainfall has been abnormally low especially due to lack of Typhoons.

Given that food is necessary for human survival, it boggles my mind that farmers are not some of the most highly paid people. I know the technical requirements are not nearly as high as, say, a lawyer, doctor, or engineer, but there is still something to the art of operating an efficient and productive farm. That there are some jobs that could completely be removed without any broader impact on human society that are paid higher than farmers are (some game streamers for example, or social media "influencers") demonstrates a failure of human priorities.
