I stopped spending money on useless stuff and started saving money for big holidays and long term investments.
I stopped talking to negative people. I would spend my time only with people who are willing to enjoy life.
I stopped locking myself in the comfort zone. I am learning a new language and practicing different sports like snowboarding and hiking in the mountains.
I stopped wasting my time on FB and other social media platforms. Now i use only Quora and lixedIn.

I stopped believing in the perfect life. Everyone experiences highs and lows.
I stopped being negative. You only live life once. There is no point living with negativity in your heart.
I stopped letting other people decide what my life was.
I stopped not caring about my health. Health is everything we have. When it starts fading, that’s when you become aware of just how lucky we are when we’re healthy.
I stopped going after things that weren’t for me.
I stopped wanting to impress people with material success.

2. I stopped going to bed late at night.
I turn off the light no later than 11 p.m. The later you sleep, the harder you can't fall asleep.
3. I stopped being tense.
I take a deep breath and let it go.

I've stopped buying unnecessary items. I'm learning the way to not fall into the trap of consumerism. I think a hundred times before buying something and only buy the stuff which serves an important purpose in my life.
I've stopped drinking water while eating. I have been practising this habit for 4 years now. I keep a gap of at least an hour after the meal and 30 min before the meal.
I've stopped eating dinner after 7 pm. If I feel hungry, I drink a glass of cow milk before bed.
I've stopped being perfect. After wasting 23 years of my life pulling off the fake crown of perfectionism, recently I've started practising Wabi-Sabi.
I've stopped bringing my phone while chilling with friends. So that we can express a little outside the digital world.
I've stopped making excuses. I accept my fault and work harder to fix it.
I've stopped arguing. Oh God, it saves a lot of energy.

I want to make sure that I don't smoke and never tried any kind of alcohol in my life. That's why these two important things are missing in my list. And these are the things I'm currently working on:
Reducing screen time.
Mastering the art of saying No.
Managing procrastination.
Developing a healthy sleep habit.
Many people want to know if the turmeric paste makes my teeth yellow. I would say, they don't become yellowish so easily due to the presence of oil and salt. However, I don't use this paste daily. I keep changing it with some homemade powders and twigs.

I stopped sharing my plans — People always want to stay ahead of you, although they won’t tell you. People are jealous by nature. For some reason, people will always find a way to sabotage your plans lest you move faster than them.
I stopped sharing my weaknesses — People will use anything to make you stumble so they can laugh at you when you fall, and then mourn you when they see you dying. People will use your weaknesses against you when given the chance.
I stopped revealing my next big move — People are always tracking your next move so they can reach there before you. Always move in silence and shock people with your results.
I stopped revealing my secrets — Even to my best friends. 9 out of your 10 friends that you have are fake. People will use your secrets to tarnish your image.
I stopped sharing my failures with people — People will always bring up your past failures to sabotage your positivity and mindset.
I stopped sharing my family secrets — When it comes to family, this is a no-go zone. Revealing your family secrets is tantamount to stripping yourself naked and walking in the streets.
Complaining — Each time you complain is evidence that you’ve lost control of your life. You’re losing your precious breath as well as your precious time. If you can do anything about it, do it. Otherwise shut up.
Gossip — I’d rather discuss something useful like an idea, or a new opportunity, instead of wasting my valuable time talking about the shortcomings of people.
Sharing my photos on Facebook — I don’t have to remind you how evil people impersonating your profile can start sending insulting messages to your best friends, and telling them how stupid they are. The less photos I have on social media, the more I’m at peace with myself.
Regretting my past — The reason I’m successful today is because of my past mistakes, failures, and successes. If I start regretting them now, then I’m shooting myself in the foot because the past is part of who I am today.

Stopped begging people to stay in my life. If they wanna leave I open the door for them.
Stopped asking people for help more than once. If they wanted to they would have helped in the first place itself.

I stopped giving as much of a shit about what other people thought. My hair is pink and it has a flower in it. If that bugs you, I’m sorry. I think it looks quite nice. I’m not free from external judgment, but I’m sure as hell getting there.
I stopped wasting my limited time on this earth with people who don’t value me. Not everyone cares about you, even if they say they do. Some people don’t have your best interests at heart. Cut them out or limit their space in your head.
I stopped acting like someone I wasn’t. Trying to be tough all the time is exhausting. I like martial arts, watching musicals, reading existential philosophy, writing, and blasting heavy metal/EDM. I wear many hats. You don’t need to understand why. I don’t need to dull myself down for other people to understand.
I stopped attaching my worth to results. Winning martial arts tournaments in my late teens and early 20s made me realize that no success is enough to satisfy the ambitious mind. You cannot build lasting self-confidence when your happiness is solely external.

I stopped asking for permission to do things. You don’t need permission to quit a job, move to a new city, or begin a new journey. You only need permission from yourself. Stop asking for permission. If anything, ask for forgiveness (generic self-help advice alx, but I don’t care).
I stopped pretending that my mental health was a lie. I have depression and anxiety and ADHD. The triple-whammy. It sucks sometimes, but I can manage it. I’ve learned how. When my mental health is good, I’m very confident in my abilities to do stuff, have an awesome life, and be happy. By validating my mental illness, I can take care of it.
I stopped writing for myself alone. I write to help myself think and grow, but I could do that by writing in my journal. I write and publish because I want to have at least a little bit of an impact on people’s lives. This keeps me going.
I stopped expecting everything to be okay. Guess what! The world is fucked up. Everything is going to end one day (even The Simpsons will air their last episode one day), but that doesn’t mean that we can’t be here now, and be content with the present moment.
I stopped making excuses. Every dream dies because of either a limit or an excuse. You have limits, but most people never reach them. Most people quit because they create stories in their heads that define them more than their dreams. I never want my excuses and doubts to dictate my life. Your doubts ain’t shit.
