It was only a few months ago. He was walking through the thick underbrush of rural Australia, a path he’s always taken.
Joe took a wrong step and found himself sink a little. He panicked and doubled down on his first misstep, pushing down even harder into the soggy sand.
Now aware of what had just happened, he realised his first reaction had only plunged him deeper into the sand. It was too late, though. Joe had already made his mind up to push.
The sand met every push with an even greater pull. He was sinking; the sand nearing his chest. Still, he thrashed harder. Somewhere in the panic there was a voice of sense. He knew that pushing wasn’t working, but he couldn’t bring himself to stop. Like a ship avoiding a collision, the later the wheel is turned, the harder that turn becomes.
Desperate, he thrashed harder. The sand began filling his mouth. Pushing was all he had left until it wasn’t. A final pull of the sand ate him up.
What if I told you Joe wasn’t walking in nature, but through a conversation?

Life is full of quicksand, and for some a little more than others, but we all face it at some point.
So how do you get out of quicksand?
Act, don’t react.
Our first action is a reaction. Without thinking, we reinforce our original stance. When Joe found himself stuck, he pushed and struggled before he even knew what had happened, only sinking him further.
If Joe had stopped, taken a breath and assessed the situation before reacting, he would be out. He would have realised that his compliment was, in fact, backhanded and offensive.
I’m sorry, Anna. That came out wrong and didn’t sound at all what I meant. I have just noticed over the last few weeks that you’ve been looking great, and I want to know your secret!
But what if you can’t silver tongue your way out of causing offence?
Just say sorry.
That’s it. You’ll be hard pressed to find someone who isn’t persuaded by a sincere apology.
What if you’ve already begun pushing and thrashing, and the sand is rising?
Exactly the same. Stop moving, calmly exit the sand with an apology or acknowledgement of your mistake.
Remember, It’s never too late

There is no national language in India ,only official language.India has 23 constitutionally recognized official languages. Hindi and English are the official languages used by the Central Government. State governments use respective official language of their region.
Everyone has their own right to learn any language they wish but it is never right to impose it on others.

Though the method of election of the President was adopted from the Irish Constitution, the method of his impeachment is from the American Constitution.
The Indian constitution is neither rigid nor flexible. It is a mixture of British and Americans, just like our governmental system which is Parliamentary like the Britishers and has a President like the Americans.
The Fundamental Rights have been taken from the American Constitution but they(with some exceptions) can be suspended during an emergency, a provision taken from the Weimar Constitution of Germany(US rival in WW2).

The procedure to amend the constitution is taken from the South African Constitution which is also the most flexible constitution.
Though the system of bicameralism( 2 parliamentary houses) was from the British Constitution, the provision for the nomination of Rajya Sabha members is from the Irish constitution and their election provision is from the South African(colonized by Britishers) constitution. And, the provision for a joint sitting of the two houses is from the Australian constitution.
Our Federal system is similar to the Canadian system
The Indian constitution is an example of experience and patience.
Experience because it has provisons from all the those countries which went through the toughest conditions to get Independence and it has provisons from their colonizers as well.
Patience because it took almost 3 years to draft the constitution. About 60 constitutions were referred to by the drafting committee. The total expenditure incurred was Rs 64 lakh.

We are intelligent and capable of amazing feats.

I focus on the worst part about being human because that’s what needs to change. There is no such thing as ‘too much good’; however, even the very definitions of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ depend on who you ask. Who determines what is ‘good’ or ‘bad’?
Are those definitions withing the reference frx of humans alone? What about the environment we live in, and those upon which we have a considerable effect?

Most people don't know that Makeup is made up of Animal Meat and Fat. Yes, you heard it right!
I came to know about this when I had video called my grandparents when they were buying meat in the market.
The butcher had collected a massive pile of fat in a corner. My eye caught that pile and I asked them why the fat is collected separately.
The butcher then told us that the collected pile of animal fats are specially for the cosmetic company ‘Mango’ which they are further going to use it for making makeup products.
He also told us that the company’s car regularly come to collect that pile. So the butcher ultimately gets paid for selling the Animal fats to cosmetic companies.
This thing is shocking for those of you who are Vegans.
After Researching more, I found out that not only the Fat portion but also animal urine, crushed insects, crushed bones, hooves, feathers etc. are being used.
Even Whale vomit is rare and it’s used in making expensive perfumes.
Not only makeups but your fake eyelashes, shampoos, shaving soaps, moisturizers and skin care products are all made from bodily excretion and parts of different birds and animals.
There’s another fact that the lipstick used by Cleopatra was made by crushing carmine beetles and ants to obtain a rich red color.
So don’t get freaked out the next time you apply makeup!

“most people” is a very broad term but here it goes.
