However, make your best efforts to spend as much time as you can with parents and grandparents. Nothing can replace them, and after 11 years I still grieve. There is a hole in my soul that can never be filled.
My blessings to this caring granddaughter and to her grandfather. May you have many more hours when you can be together.

I was her favorite grandson. Whenever she got angry my parents ask me to talk to her so she could calm down. It''s been a year. I miss her.

This hurts so much after loosing my grandma a week ago to covid. Noone can replace the unconditional love and care that grandparents have for their grandchildren. The guilt and pain to not able to see her for the last time will haunt me forever. Miss her so much!

This had me in tears. Reminded me of my own dad who passed away last year at the age of 83. Grandparents are always cute. Even the cranky ones are so much fun to be around. I only had a maternal grandmother, my other grandparents died even before I was born. My grandma was so funny, liked to sing, tell stories and very loving. She was like sunshine. I miss her a lot.

This breaks my heart because my grandparents left this world in the recent years. My grandpa had alzheimer, his condition deteriorated so fast, but despite of all of that, he professed his love for my grandma a lot, he was such a romantic man, a very tough and strict man who only showed his soft side to grandma. My grandma was a strong woman, she couldn''t handle loneliness well, she often got lonely after my grandpa was gone, it got worse when my father (her eldest son and also second child) died, half a year after my grandpa''s death. Over a year later, she succumbed to old age, she often said at her age, her only true friend is my grandpa. And once my grandpa and father left, she was often alone. My auntie had different inside clock than her, so they only talked in the afternoon (since my aunt immediately fell asleep after 8).
It''s just sad to witness old people fading away...

How can something be heartwarming and heart breaking at the same time? I live with my grandparents and I''m blessed ! I love them with everything I have. The thought of losing them or being away from them brings tears to my eyes. I pray everyday for their health and well being.
