I was really looking forward to going back to Guangzhou, this time I decided to go there by train but on Business class. Ticket was around RMB 240 from Futian Station in Shenzhen to Guangzhou South. It was a very nice experience May 1, 2021

This station is beautiful than Biggest airports in advanced countries. Amazing

High speed railway is the future. It brings you into the middle of the city in less time and less preparation as you need when you take a flight. Also it's more comfortable and business friendly.

And they use electricity to power the trains. In contrast, planes use fuel, which causes pollution and global warming.

First, trains are not affected by weather and almost never late, second, in big cities in China public transport take you anywhere and they are pretty cheap, if you only need to travel 1-2 kilometres, shared bikes is another convenient option. 95% of the people don't need a car.

Compared to the high speed trains you have the ones in Germany look like from the stone age. So jealous!

One thing I notice: female servers and ticket inspectors in China trains are very beautiful while those in Germany train are a little old and (sorry) ugly.

The seat has a foldering table hide in your left side, I used to have video conference with colleague via 4G hotspot on WebEx, the 4G coverage is amazing, it's hard to believe the train was running on 300+hm/h but keep video and audio no interupted! And after meeting i just realized the train also provide free WIFI.
