QA:如果你只有两个月的旅行时间，你会跳过东南亚的哪些国家？

I’ll skip Laos and Brunei Darussalam, and choose one between Singapore and Malaysia.
Why skipping Laos?
Laos looks and sounds similar with Thailand, wrapped in a more laid-back atmosphere. The temples, the palaces, the food, the language, are similar. I’m not saying that they’re the exact same, but they’re similar. While the old French buildings, well, you can have them in Cambodia or Vietnam.
Secondly, it is expensive and tricky to get around in Laos. There is no railway connecting one city to another. Cheap flights depart and arrive at Vientiane Wattay International Airport. So if you’re on a tight budget and schedule, this can be a problem since you need to enter and leave Laos from the same door.

我会跳过老挝和文莱，并在新加坡和马来西亚之间选一个。
为什么跳过老挝？
老挝和泰国看起来很像，生活更加的悠闲。寺庙，宫殿，食物，语言都很像。我不是说二者之间一模一样，但是真的很像。旧的法国建筑，你可以在柬埔寨或者越南看到。
第二，老挝的交通昂贵又不方便。城市之间没有铁路连接。万象机场有廉价的航班，所以如果你预算很紧，行程安排很紧，这会成为一个问题，因为你需要从同一个地方进出老挝。

Why skipping Brunei?
In my opinion, Brunei is a laid-back and quieter version of Malaysia. There is nothing really unique or stands out, not even the royal mosque. It is also an expensive country and hostels are very rare to find. There is just that purple bus system to serve the capital with very limited schedule. But if you insist visiting Brunei, well.. since it is just a very small country with a tiny capital, you can make it in 2 or 3 days then :)
Why choosing one between Singapore and Malaysia?
They’re currently the two most developed countries in Southeast Asia, and they look quite similar. Both are home to Malay, Chinese, and Indian. Both are colonized by the British. Both speak the similar Malay language. Both have the same style of Chinese temples or Indian temples.
The nature? Well, you can find another white sandy beaches in Indonesia, Thailand, Phlippines, or Vietnam.
The culture? The neighboring Thailand or Indonesia offer more unique culture shows and experiences.

为什么跳过文莱？
在我看来，文莱是悠闲安静版的马来西亚。没有什么特别或者突出的地方，甚至那个皇家清真寺都很一般。而且是一个昂贵的国家，旅馆很少。只有一个巴士系统在服务首都地区，而且班次不多。但是如果你坚持要去文莱，由于这是一个小国家，首都也很小，两三天时间就可以玩遍了。
为什么要在新加坡和马来西亚之间做选择？
这两个是目前东南亚最发达的国家，而且看起来很类似。二者都居住着马来人，华人和印度人。二者都被英国殖民过。二者都说类似的马来语。二者都拥有同样类型的中国寺庙或者印度寺庙。
自然？你可以在印尼，泰国，菲律宾或者越南找到白色的沙滩。
文化？旁边的泰国和印尼能提供更多的独特文化体验。
这些都是我的个人看法，大家不用太当真。

I prefer Malaysia than singapore though. Singapore is clean and orderly, but I think malaysia is richer, culturally.
Has not traveled to Laos (but hope to), but Thailand is so fun. Bangkok is a very nice and clean city.

Which countries in Southeast Asia would you skip if you only have 2 months of travel time?
If I got 2 months… I won't skip any of the S.E Asia nations… if nothing else, just collecting Stamps on my Passport and has the bragging rights to said I have been to the ‘whole’ of S.E Asia.
Depending on your Budget, even relatively expensive Singapore is doable… but also depending on your budget or how you intend to return to your home country, I would make Singapore the last place to visit and fly off from Changi International Airport… its not the Best Airport in the World for nothing…
All in all… everything depends on your budget, the 1st country you are arriving from… what you intend to see and do…
Example… if you want to be ‘One with the Beach'… then concentrate on nation with world famous beaches… Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.
But to answer the question - Brunei and Timor-Leste. Reasons, both country is abit out of the way and getting there may be a bit more pricey than normal… unless your budget allows…

With 2 months, you should visit all countries. I will spread them in this manner:
Thailand 18 days
Vietnam 12 days
Myanmar 8 days
Phillipines 8 days
Indonesia(all Bali) 5 days
Cambodia 5 days
Singapore 4 days
If you think laosy Laos need to be in, take off one day each from a few countries and give it 3 to 4 days the most, as some travellers like the laid back feel of Luang Prabang or Vientiane.
If you think Malaysia must be in, do the same and give 1 day for Kuala Lumpur to view the Twin Towers in the evening.
If you are a Muslim, do the same and give Brunei 2 days.

我会跳过文莱。有两个月时间，你应该访问剩余的其他国家。我会这样安排：

Two months is a good time to spend.
The only country I would 100% skip is Singapore. It isn’t really south east Asia and is expensive to visit. If you run short of time, you could also skip the Philippines. The food is awful and it’s tricky to get around.
My suggestion would be to use Thailand as a start/finish point because of the good air connections.
You can then do 10 days each in Indonesia and Vietnam. Then a week each in Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos and Burma.
You can do a few days in Thailand at the end, but it has become very expensive and over exploited. The majority of tourists coming are now mostly Chinese and Indian. It isn’t that this is bad, but most of the other nationalities have stopped coming here. I hate to say it, because Thailand has been my home for many years, but now its best use is as a transit point.

两个月时间是蛮多的了。我百分百会跳过的国家是新加坡。真的算不上是东南亚，而且费用昂贵。如果时间不够，你还可以跳过菲律宾。那里的食物糟糕透了，而且交通不方便。
我建议将泰国作为出入口，因为那里的空运方便。你可以在印尼和越南各待10天，马来西亚，柬埔寨，老挝和缅甸各一周。
最后在泰国待几天，但是现在泰国变得 非常昂贵，过度拥挤。现在大部分游客都是中国人或者印度人。不是说这是坏事，但是其他国家的人们都不再来泰国了，所以现在最好是把泰国当作中转站。
